She believes energy policy and utility economics must ultimately deliver reliable and affordable power for rural communities. Rachel represents Michigan on the board of the National Rural Electric Cooperative Association, helping shape national strategy for electric cooperatives that serve more than 40 million Americans. She also serves locally on the boards of Traverse Connect and the Freshwater Research and Innovation Center.
